Medina receives new envoys: Indonesia, Nicaragua, Peru, Spain

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Thurs. received the credentials of four new ambassadors to the country in the National Palace, accompanied by vice president Margarita Cedeño and other officials.

Ambassador Manuel Alejandro Abellán will represent Spain; Augusto Freyre Layzequilla, Peru; Yaosca Calderón Martín, Nicaragua and Alfred Tanduck Palembangan, Indonesia.

Upon arrival at the National Palace, a battalion of the Presidential Guard rendered the military honors and a band played the national anthems of the Dominican Republic, Spain, Peru, Nicaragua and Indonesia.
