Most fuel prices up this week

Santo Domingo.- All fuels except natural gas will be subject to price increases as of Friday and the prices will remain in effect until next Friday, August 11th, according to the weekly update from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM).

The new price for premium gasoline is RD$213.30 per gallon, an increase of RD$5.00, while regular gasoline will be sold for RD$199.20, up RD$4.00.

Regular diesel will cost RD$151.00 per gallon, an increase of RD$4.00; premium or optimum is RD$164.10, up RD$5.00; and aircraft fuel or avtur is RD$119.40, an increase of RD$4.00.

A gallon of kerosene will cost RD$145.00, up RD$5.00, fuel oil is RD$98.05, up RD$2.00 and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) is RD$105.50 per gallon, an increase of RD$3.00.

The price of natural gas is unchanged at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.
