Gasoline down; diesel, propane up; natural gas unchanged

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted the fuel prices for the week from August 19 to 25, when premium gasoline will be cost RD$209.80, and regular RD$195.70, both RD$2.50 lower per gallon.

Regular diesel will cost RD$149.00; optimum will cost RD$162.10, or RD$1.00 less on both; avtur will cost RD$117.90, or RD$1.50 less; kerosene will cost RD$142.50, or RD$2.50 less, and fuel oil will cost RD$96.05, or RD$2.00 less per gallon.

Propane will cost RD$106.80 per gallon, or RD$1.30 more, while natural gas will continue at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

The Dominican Central Bank’s average posted exchange rate of RD$47.58 per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
