21 year-old student crowned Miss World Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- Aletxa Mueses, a communication student, 21, is the new Miss World Dominican Republic, crowned by the Miss Dominican National Beauty Queen Organization.

Mueses will represent the country in the 67th annual Miss World Pageant, in Sanya, China, where 117 countries will compete for the world crown.

In a statement, Pageant representative and fashion designer Dianny Mota announced the results of the contest held in the Juan Lockward Bar of the National Theater.
