Casimiro Ramos takes a swing

Santo Domingo.- Special Agricultural Development Fund (FEDA) director Casimiro Ramos on Wed. said bats made of bamboo will be produced for the national market and for export, which he called a significant advance for the country’s bamboo industry.

Ramos gathered youngsters of the town of San Isidro, near Bonao (central) where he hosted a homerun derby in the baseball diamond to test the bamboo bats produced by that plant’s first processing factory, in Monseñor Nouel province.
