Famed guitarist performs for British Chamber’s 30 years

Santo Domingo.- The Roundtable of Commonwealth countries in the Dominican Republic and the Symphony Foundation announced the first performance in the country of classical guitarist from Malta, Simon Schembri, on Nov. 30, to mark the 30th anniversary of the British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic (BRTICHAM).

The classical artist has performed for the heads of state of England and to the Commonwealth countries.

Schembri will begin his performance at 8:30pmin the Colonial Zone’s Regina Angelorum church, attended by the business community, senior government officials, diplomats and guests.

Commonwealth Roundtable president Fernando González Nicolás, will head the event, together with Symphony Foundation president, Margarita Copello and British Chamber of Commerce president José Rodríguez, as well as executives of those organizations.
