Dominican leader in Kingston for  talks on tourism

Kingston.- President Danilo Medina on Mon. visited Prime minister Andrew Holness at the latter’s office.

After exchanging gifts both leaders spoke of the friendship between former Dominican president Juan Bosch and Jamaican union leader and politician, Alexander Bustamante, who served as independent Jamaica’s first prime minister from 1962 to 1967.

Medina is in Jamaica as part of an official visit, and the Conference on Employment and Inclusive Growth: Partnerships for Sustainable Tourism, in Montego Bay Nov. 27 to 29 , where he will be the main speaker.
