‘Still Eighteen’ alternative rock band in their own words

Cabarete, Dominican Republic.- Still Eighteen is an alternative rock band originally from Canada but call the north coast of the Dominican Republic their home. The band consists of Joey (vocals/guitar), Samantha (vocals / bass) and Karen (drums).

What makes this rock trio so unique is that it is a family; father, mother and daughter.

We released our debut EP in December, 2016 called, Bullets to Dust and our music is being heard around the world!  All songs are written by Joey and Samantha. It is their wish that their music will inspire hope and change.

Still Eighteen puts on a dynamic live performance with a mix of our own catchy rock originals as well as classic rock covers by the greats like Hendrix, Bowie etc.

The band has performed all over the island from Punta Cana to Cabarete at places like Hard Rock Hotel, Hard Rock Cafe, various large hotels and cool rock bars.

Our upcoming shows for this month are Friday, December 22nd at Beer World Bar in Santo Domingo, Saturday, December 23rd at Cay Tapas & Rock in Santiago and Sunday, December 31st at a New Year’s Eve event at the Cigar Club in Sosua.

Then at the end of January we are off to perform in Italy again at Hard Rock Cafe in Florence and other venues but they will be returning in March to the country that has captured our hearts, the Dominican Republic.
