Santo Domingo.- A new security measure is being introduced by airlines operating regular flights from the Dominican Republic to the United States via Las Américas International Airport (AILA).

Some departing passengers will be asked to complete a questionnaire prior to boarding. The measure was recommended by the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

A TSA commission recently visited the Dominican authorities to coordinate the application of the new procedure.

At least five airlines operate regular flights from the DR to the US via Las Américas.
