National Police pride x six

Santo Domingo.- National Police sergeant major Bellanira Montero Encarnación, a 17-year veteran of the force, considers herself one of Dominican Republic’s most fortunate mothers, whose six sons are all police officers.

In a statement the Police said Montero, who turned 47 on Jan. 2, also has a sister in the force, as was her late brother.

Bellarina’s officers: Johnny, 32, sergeant; Joan Manuel, 30; and corporals Joel, 28; Yorky, 27, Jofran, 25, and Jeison, 22. Four serve in San Juan de La Maguana (west), one in Santiago and another in San Cristóbal (south).
