Medina cuts ribbon on Santo Domingo International Book Fair

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina Thurs. night opened the 21st Santo Domingo International Book Fair 2018, dedicated to the late writer Lupo Hernández Rueda.

This year’s event, which has Guatemala as a guest country, will run until April 30 at the capital’s Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte.

The inaugural took place in the Eduardo Brito National Theater.

Present in the event were Culture minister, Pedro Vergés and other senior officials.
