"Dear Sir, I am a representative from U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the United States. I read your article (Agents arrest Dominican in JFK with 44Ks of cocaine) and wanted to bring to light some facts that are incorrect. In the article it names us as "Border Patrol and Customs Protection" as previously stated our proper name is "U.S. Customs and Border Protection."

"Secondly, the article states an arrest was made and insinuates it was CBP who provided that information. The information provided to the media via our press release clearly states that no arrest was made."

"I appreciate your time and understanding of our concern. Our agency strives to work closely with all media outlets and wants to provide the media with accurate and timely information with the hope it is reported correctly."
