Massachusetts man faces rape, murder charges in Rosana Camilo’s death, boston.com reports

Santo Domingo.- A man from Roxbury, Massachusetts faces rape and murder charges in the death of Dominican woman Rosana Camilo, who relatives say had moved to Boston to get medical care for her son, boston.com reports.

“Eldrick D. Broom, 27, was free on personal recognizance at the time of the slaying after being charged with a different crime: beating up his pregnant girlfriend,” the news source said.

The accused is slated for arraignment in Suffolk Superior Court today, charged with aggravated rape and first-degree murder for the Nov. 21 killing of Camilo inside her apartment, the news source said, quoting the Office of Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley.
