Widely scattered showers for the next 24 to 48 hours

Santo Domingo.- The prevailing east-southeast wind will continue to drag cloudiness towards the national territory, with widely scattered showers for some parts of the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.
The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) says those conditions stem from a low level front associated to a low pressure system located over the Bahamas.
Today’s forecast however calls for few weather changes during the next 24 to 48 hours, with a slight chance of rain and higher than normal winds and waves along the coasts.
