Low chance of rain through Saturday, Atlantic surf calms

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts little change in the weather on Thursday, with low probability of rain during the next two days.
It said most provinces can expect partly cloudy skies from a high pressure system over the North Atlantic, nevertheless, with some widely scattered showers, mostly in afternoon and early evening, in the northeast, southeast and Central mountains, from the prevailing northeast wind.
ONAMET said small craft warnings have been lifted along the Atlantic coast, where waves are no higher than six feet, but shouldn’t venture out to sea,
It adds that temperatures will be seasonably mild during the early morning hours and at night.
