Salamis and piglets politico endorses “the tough” ex president

Santo Domingo.- Opposition PRD party presidential candidate Hipólito Mejía Tuesday night announced an agreement with minority PRSC party senator Amable Aristy, whose major claim to fame was the 2008 electoral campaign, when in bid for the presidency, handed out live piglets, cash and salamis to throngs.

Mejía, know as “El Guapo de Gurabo” (the tough, of his hometown), said he’ll disclose the details of the pact with Aristy possibly next week

The ex president made the announcement after a rally with the movement “Hairdressers with Papa” (his nickname used by his campaign), formed by women stylists and beauty parlor owners.
