Spanish pollster denies making presidential election survey

Santo Domingo.- The Spanish pollster Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS) on Friday denied having conducted a survey on Dominican Republic’s presidential election of May 20, as local media report.
In a statement sent to Efe, the CIS "flatly denies the information provided by various web newspapers and blogs on the realization of an electoral survey in the Dominicana Republic."
It adds that the CIS is an autonomous administrative organization with registered assets, assigned to the Ministry of the Presidency, whose duty is the scientific study of Spanish society.
