Puerto Plata agents arrest U.S. man wanted on child rape charge

Santo Domingo.– An American wanted on child rape charge, especially in California, was arrested Friday night by the National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD).
According to DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebron, Troy Douglas Brimm, 50, was arrested in Puerto Plata during a raid by officers from the Special Investigations Department.
"This man, wanted by the U.S. on charges of pedophilia, committed his crimes in the state of California and took refuge in Puerto Plata, where he pretended to live a normal life," Lebron said.
The fugitive, who will be extradited, was caught while traveling along Hermanas Mirabal avenue.
