Another poll: Ruling party candidate wins in first ballot
Santo Domingo.- Just hours after the pollster Greenberg said ruling PLD party candidate Danilo Medina will win Sunday’s presidential election in the first balloting 51% against opposition PRD party opponent Hipólito Mejia’s 46%, another survey found similar figures.
The company Benenson Strategy Group released its poll Monday morning which said Medina will win the election 52 percent to Mejia’s 41 percent.
The pollster said the survey conducted from May 5 to 9 with 1,099 eligible voters, with a margin of error of 2.96%, also found that minority party Al-Pais candidate Guillermo Moreno would draw 2 percent of the votes.
