Fuel prices fall for the third straight week

SANTO DOMINGO. – For the third straight week fuel prices will fall from June 23 to 29, when premium gasoline will cost RD$224.00, or RD$ 1.20 less per gallon and regular will cost RD$207.40 or RD$1.50 less.

Regular diesel will cost RD$192.40 or RD $2.20 less; premium diesel will cost RD$199.10, or RD$2.10 less; avtur will cost RD$156.12, or RD$2.16 less; kerosene will cost RD$182.20, or RD$ 2.40 less, and fuel oil will cost RD$138.02, or RD$2.00 per gallon.

Propane gas will cost RD$93.90, or RD$2.00 less per gallon and natural gas remains unchanged at RD$25.00 per cubic meter.

The average exchange rate stood at RD$39.16 per US dollar, according to information from Dominican Republic’s Central Bank.
