Dominicans most trust the press, churches; Gallup poll

Santo Domingo. -Three private sector entities received the highest approval ratings for the service they provide to the public: The press, with 71%, the Protestant churches, with 66.2%, and the Catholic Church, with 63%, according to a national poll.
The pollster Gallup, which conducted the survey for newspaper Hoy, also found that 50% of the population affirms that the ministries of the Armed Forces, of Education, and of Public Health as well as the Consumer Protection Agency provide a good service.
The survey conducted from April 11 to 15 this year interviewed 1,200 people across the country.
