Man dies from gunshot after returning from New York

Santiago.– A man who had recently returned from New York, was gunned in Guazumal, a community in the municipality of Tamboril, in Santiago.

The dead man is Jose Rolando Veras Reina, 40. His relatives accused Elvin Castillo of being the perpetrator of the crime, while the mastermind was identified as the merchant Lali Veras.

Veras Reina, who lived in Tamboril, was taken to a clinic in Santiago, where he died one hour after being shot.

According to press reports, the man accused of ordering the death of Veras Reina had had an argument with the victim in February this year in New York.
