Medina off to Ecuador to attend Correa’s inaugural
Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina and a small delegation departed 5am Friday aboard a private flight from Higüero international Airport to Quito, Ecuador, to attend Rafael Correa’s inaugural.
He was accompanied by the ministers of the Presidency, Gustavo Montalvo, administrative, José Ramón Peralta, of Tourism, Francisco Javier Garcia, of Culture José Antonio Rodriguez and the deputy Jose Cabrera.
Medina is slated to return to Dominican Republic Friday night at the same terminal. He was scheduled to travel to Ecuador at 5pm Thursday, but weather conditions forced its postponement for today.
