Prosecutor asks court to keep Colombian brothers behind bars

Santo Domingo.- The Justice Ministry on Monday asked a National District Court to review its ruling granting bail to the two Colombian brothers charged with forming part of an international drug trafficking and money laundering network, which seeks to keep them behind bars.
Anti-Money Laundering prosecutor German Miranda arrived at the Ciudad Nueva courthouse at 1pm, and filed the review request before the 2nd Appellate Court.
Miranda asks the 4th Instruction Court of to return Huber Oswaldo Buitrago and Angel Maria Buitrago to custody after they were granted RD$3.0 million bail each.
