‘Medina mistreats us’, some pro-government parties tell ex president

Santo Domingo.- Former president Leonel Fernández met today with the heads of the parties the pro-government block, to reportedly to review the current national situation.
Some of the minority party leaders complained to Fernandez, President of the ruling PLD party, of alleged abuses received from Danilo Medina’s administration, but others say they’re satisfied with the way the chief executive treats them.
Among the complaints is that Medina has been indifferent and has yet to reciprocate their support during the 2012 election bid.
"We’re quite willing to collaborate with the Government in every sense, to improve the country’s situation and deal with the nation’s problem of safety,” said Nelson Didiez, of the PDP party.
