Santo Domingo.- Marco De la Rosa, president of the AES energy group’s Dominican Republic operations, died on Wednesday while exercising in the capital’s Mirador Sur park.

AES PR Bredyg Disla confirmed the executive’s passing but noted that cause of death has yet to be determined.

She said De la Rosa’s body was taken to the Clinica Independencia medical facility.

At the time of his death, presumably from a massive heart attack, the businessman was jogging in the park located on the western side of the city. He was 45.

In an exclusive interview for Dominican Today, De la Rosa’s answers were candid and precise.

In the interview, De la Rosa, who hailed from Venezuela, revealed his passion for playing baseball.

Our condolences to his family and colleagues.
