“Join and get naked”, new campaign against tax to Internet shopping

Santo Domingo.– An unusual way to protest is scheduled for Friday night, 8 August in the park La Lira on Lincoln avenue, which seeks to draw public attention to the arbitrary tax that Custom Agency will apply on online purchases of less than US$200.

The protest, which is called "Join and Get Naked", is promoted by the Institutional Democratic Youth (JDI) belonging to the minority opposition party PDI. Hundreds of young people who are frequent users of online shopping are expected to attend.
