Miguel Vargas: Order and renovation drive PRD on road to power

Santo Domingo.- Opposition PRD party president Miguel Vargas said that getting to power is an unmissable event for his political party in the upcoming elections of May 2016.

To achieve such goal, the PRD has completed a fruitful process of growth, openness and renewal, "whose foundations will be exhibited at the National Convention of Delegates on September 14," Vargas said.

According to a press report, Vargas made his statements during a ceremony at the PRD headquarters, where Guillermo Moringlane, the president of Friends of Moringlane External Movement, and key leaders from his team sworn in support of the PRD president’s aspirations of becoming the Dominican Republic’s next president.
