Weekend: Scattered showers, mild temperatures

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office -Onamet- forecasts scattered showers with thunderstorms over some provinces Friday afternoon, from a trough and the prevailing east wind.

It said the showers will be mostly over the south-central and southeastern regions, and partly cloudy with low chance of rainfall in other areas.

It said the trough will cover most of the country Saturday tomorrow, with increasing showers and thunderstorms over the north, northeast and Central Mountains.

Onamet forecasts no significant changes during the weekend, when temperatures ranging from a high of 32 degrees Celsius and a low of 21 degrees.
