PRM says President Medina promotes institutional setback

Santo Domingo.– Opposition Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) regrets that President Danilo Medina head a group of leaders and friends of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) who promote an institutional setback.

PRM president Andres Bautista said in a press release that the setback promoted by Presiden Medina and his group started with the constitutional reform on re-election, after a sharing deal of the treasury resources that made the National Congress a marketplace of buying and selling.

"With that infamous pact between President Danilo Medina and PRD president Miguel Vargas, the constitutional right to elect and be elected of thousands of leaders in both organizations was ignored," Bautista pointed out.
