President Medina and Miguel Vargas in campaign together in Azua

Santo Domingo.– President Danilo Medina and Miguel Vargas Maldonado will attend the ceremony to announce Rafael Calderon’s candidacy for senator of the Azua province, where many PLD and PRD leaders and activists are expected to attend.

Calderon said this will be President Medina’s first appearance in political campaign as presidential candidate. "My proclamation in Azua will be historic and it will seal my triumph as the next senator for the period 2016-2020", the aspiring senator said.

He also pointed out he is the senator Azua needs because he has earned massive support for his great work in favor of the needy, helping young people with college and technical scholarships and contributing to the real sustainable development of the country, among other achievements.
