Dominican fashion week draws local, foreign designers

Santo Domingo.- DominicanaModa fashion week has become the best gateway where Dominican designers hereand abroad can showcase their creations and project Dominican Republic´s market.

The "Master ofthe Scissors" Leonel Lirio opened Dominican Republic Fashion Week for thethird consecutive year with his collection "The Circus of my life."

"This is acircus, very special, like my own life, without tamed beasts, but withcreations achieved on pure emotion and for a reason, walking as if on thethinnest tightrope without losing the orientation, because while there´s lifethere will be fashion and I hope to be there to tell it my way," saidLirio.
