´Don´t rush to judgment´ in French pilots´ escape

Santo Domingo.- Institutionalismand Justice Foundation (Finjus) vice president Serbio Tulio Castaños on Sundaywarned that authorities must be very cautious when blaming France for theescape of two French pilots from the country, and who faced 20 years in prison fordrug trafficking.
"The first thing isthat France´s government distanced itself from that, I do not believe that theFrench government was behind that," he said, noted that they had been releaseddespite forming part of a serious case.
Interviewed by FedericoMendez on Santo Domingo TV, Castaños said the pilots´ escape has jeopardizedthe country institutionally, and agrees with Foreign minister Andres Navarro´s statementthat before making any judgment, the behavior of government agencies in thecase must be analyzed.
