PAL proclaims Danilo Medina as its 2016 presidential candidate

Santo Domingo.– Dominican President Danilo Medina will be proclaimed on Saturday as the presidential candidate for the Liberal Action Party (PAL), in a ceremony to be held at the Dominican Fiesta hotel in Santo Domingo.

The event will be attended by the main leaders of the ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and PAL, an organization headed by Maritza Lopez. Last week Medina was proclaimed as the Dominican Workers’ Party (PTD) candidate.

These parties that have Medina as is presidential candidate are part of the so-called Progressive Bloc.
