Dominican Republic cardinal again calls US envoy ´f..ggot´

Santo Domingo.- CardinalNicolas de Jesus Lopez Rodriguez on Sunday suggested that US ambassador James W.Brewster leave the Dominican Republic and desist from spreading his “queerness.”.

Visibly angry theprelate said what the diplomat should do is go home and reiterated thatBrewster wants to introduce his "gayness" in the country.

Quoted by acento.com.do,Lopez was asked about his ongoing flap with the US envoy, who on Thursdaycalled the cardinal´s accusations as “noise” which stirs hatred.

"With anambassador who is a faggot, why should we be doing so much, no way, he shouldgo home; he doesn’t have to come to place anything here… "

Seemingly weary of the row,the Cardinal said "I don’t talk to queers," among other things.
