Bayahibe, Dominican Republic.- The National Traffic and Land Transport Institute (INTRANT) on Mon. shuttered the offices of a taxi company that operated illegally in the tourist town of Bayahibe, La Altagracia province (east), where it impounded four vehicles.

The country’s transport services regulator hadn’t issued the authorization required by Dominican Republic’s Mobility Law, the Intrant said in a statement.
