Trump praises ICE agent born in the Dominican Republic

Washington.- Dominican Republic-born Elvin Hernandez, National Security Dept. (DHS) special agent in charge of operations against trafficking in persons, criminal gangs and drug trafficking, participated in the State of the Union address, invited by US president Donald Trump.

In his State of the Union address the US president thanked and acknowledged Hernandez’s work in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Trump also invited law enforcement officers, ex-junkies, a former drug addict and family members killed by immigrants, among others, as an example of his political agenda so far in office.
