COE lifts small craft and navigation restrictions on the Atlantic coast

SANTO DOMINGO.- The Directorate of the Emergency Operations Center (COE) lifted navigation restrictions for small boats on the Atlantic coast on Sunday, after the afternoon’s weather bulletin established that the waves are improving in the zone.

However, the COE warned that from the Saona Island, in La Romana, to Cabo Frances Viejo (María Trinidad Sánchez), fragile and small boats are recommended to navigate with caution near the coastal perimeter without venturing offshore due to abnormal waves.
