Migration agent attacked in Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo.- A Migration agent from the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) was assaulted on Monday afternoon in the Piantini sector of Santo Domingo. The agent was shot and beaten with a shovel after attempting to check the documents of a Haitian national who resisted.

During the altercation, other individuals intervened, causing the agent to fall into a construction pit. While on the ground, one assailant hit him with a shovel, and another took his firearm and shot him in the leg. The attackers also attempted to strike him with a pickaxe, but other members of the interdiction team intervened to prevent further harm.

The injured agent is recovering at the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces. Authorities arrested four Haitian nationals involved in the incident, who are now under investigation.

Nothing surprising, this is typical of them. Violence is in their DNA, just look at how they massacre and slaughter their own people, killing more than 100 civilians in a single day. If we don’t get rid of them in massive numbers, these people will turn DR into another Haiti.
