Puerto Plata to host 2025 CECACIER meeting
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic will host the 2025 Assembly of the Regional Committee for Central America and the Caribbean (CECACIER) and the Annual Meeting of Senior Executives (ENAE), organized by the Regional Energy Integration Commission (CIER). This significant event, set to take place in Puerto Plata, will bring together energy sector leaders from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.
The assembly will focus on sharing best practices and experiences to enhance service quality in the electrical sector, accelerate the transition to a low-emission economy, and foster collaboration. The theme, “Innovation and Collaboration for a Sustainable Energy Future,” will guide the event, which will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and presentations on successful projects from member countries. One notable workshop will cover “Projecting Energy Storage in Latin America.”
