This data should serve as basis for the government to promote and development industries like IT, programming, microchip development, technology, etc. The DR has massive potential for such industries and we have many skilled young people who are hungry for opportunities. Although our economy is growing, real development is lacking in many areas. Tourism and services will only get us so far, we need more advanced industries to transform the country and propel it to the next level.
