Meteorology forecasts rains in at least 14 provinces

Scattered and moderate downpours will occur today, with possible gusts of wind over La Altagracia, La Romana, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Sánchez Ramírez, and Duarte.

The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) also predicted that the rains will affect localities in Santiago Rodríguez, Santiago, La Vega, María Trinidad Sánchez, Santo Domingo, and the National District.

Trough affects

The weather forecaster agency reported that the rainfall would occur in the afternoon and be caused by the trough that affected the territory and the influence of the east/southeast wind.
Indomet predicts that temperatures will be low in the morning and evening hours, especially in mountainous areas and valleys in the country’s interior.

For Greater Santo Domingo, Meteorology predicted cloudy increases at times, with isolated and temporary rains.
