Dominican Brewery denies Mirovoi Trader’s claim to import Presidente Beer to Russia

Santo Domingo.- Mirovoi Trader, a company that a Russian newspaper attributes with the patent to import Presidente beer into Russia, has raised suspicions due to its complete absence from social media and search engines like Google. Despite being described as a large-scale importing company, no information about Mirovoi could be found on any online platforms, according to N Digital.
The Dominican National Brewery, however, clarified through its Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager, Ana María Martínez, that it has no commercial relationship with Mirovoi Trader and does not export Presidente beer to Russia. Martínez emphasized that the brewery does not engage in any business with distributors in those markets, either directly or indirectly.
The confusion began when Russian media reported that Mirovoi Trader had obtained a concession to import beer into Russia to mitigate logistics costs and bypass EU sanctions. However, Martínez swiftly denied this claim, stating that the company is unknown to the brewery, and an internal investigation is underway to clarify the situation.
