Fire reported at Higüey company

Higüey.- The National Emergency and Safety Response System (911) coordinated efforts to contain a fire at a resin warehouse near the Total gas station, located at the intersection of Almacenes Unidos and Domingo Maíz.

Four units from the Higüey Fire Department were deployed to extinguish the flames, while two National Police units and an ambulance from the Directorate of Out-of-Hospital Emergency Services (DAEH) provided additional support as a precaution.

Authorities have not reported any injuries, and efforts continue to fully control the situation. The 911 system reaffirmed its commitment to public safety and urged drivers to yield to emergency vehicles to ensure swift response times.
