Russia opens first embassy in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- Russia has officially opened its first embassy in the Dominican Republic, marking a new chapter in diplomatic relations between the two nations. The Russian Foreign Ministry made the announcement and introduced the embassy’s Telegram account, welcoming it as part of the “virtual family” of Russian diplomacy.
On April 14, Russian Ambassador Alexei Seredin presented his credentials to Dominican Foreign Minister Roberto Álvarez, formalizing his role as the country’s first ambassador to the Dominican Republic.
Seredin, 58, brings extensive experience in Latin American affairs, having previously served at the Russian Embassy in Venezuela and as deputy director of the Latin American Department at Russia’s Foreign Ministry.
Well done…
