Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader extended his solidarity and well wishes to former U.S. President Joe Biden after it was revealed that Biden has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. In a message on social media, Abinader expressed sadness over the news and offered prayers for Biden, his wife Jill, and their family.

Biden’s diagnosis was confirmed last week after medical tests identified a prostate nodule linked to worsening urinary symptoms. According to a statement from his press office, doctors classified the cancer as aggressive, with a Gleason score of 9 (Group 5), but noted that it remains hormone-sensitive and responsive to treatment. Biden and his family are currently exploring treatment options with medical experts.
