Dominican Embassy in China launches investment magazine
Beijing.- To commemorate the seventh anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Dominican Republic and China, the Dominican Embassy in Beijing launched a new promotional magazine titled “Invest in the Dominican Republic.” This publication aims to attract foreign investment by highlighting the country’s economic strengths and legal advantages.
Created in collaboration with the firm Psearcher, the magazine provides comprehensive and up-to-date information on the Dominican Republic’s key industries, business opportunities, and recent developments in its bilateral relationship with China. It also outlines consular procedures for foreign investors, positioning itself as a valuable resource for Chinese entrepreneurs, diplomats, and officials interested in engaging with the Caribbean nation.
The magazine received a warm reception at the event, with guests requesting additional copies for distribution. Both print and digital formats were made available, with QR codes facilitating easy access. The Embassy plans to continue distributing the magazine at future events to promote investment opportunities and further deepen cooperation with China. Since establishing diplomatic ties in 2018, the two countries have signed over 20 agreements across various sectors, with trade between them reaching nearly US$4,966 million in 2023.
