Dominican Republic to host four international tennis tournaments

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Tennis Federation (Fedotenis) has announced that it will host four international professional tennis tournaments this June, with a total prize pool of US$120,000 and over 170 players from 30 countries expected to participate.
The events will take place at the National Tennis Center in Parque del Este across two weeks, from June 2 to 15, 2025. The first week (June 2–8) will feature a W35 women’s tournament and an M25 men’s tournament, each offering US$30,000 in prize money and ITF points (35 for women, 25 for men). The same format will be repeated in the second week (June 9–15).
Local players expected to compete include Roberto Cid, Peter Bertran, Alejandro Ganadini, Enmanuel Muñoz, and Alberto Puello, while the women’s lineup includes Anna Maria Fedotova and Ana Zamburek.
Omar “Jimi” Cardona will serve as the ITF supervisor for both weeks, with Francisco de los Santos as assistant referee and Sergio Tobal, tournament director and Fedotenis vice president, leading the organization.
