Trek to the stars at Santo Domingo International Book Fair

Santo Domingo.- Some gravitate through galaxies until reaching Mars and other planets, as well as dive into the oceans, interacting with many of the species that make life in marine ecosystems, at no cost.

Both virtual opportunities are part of the technological processes promoted in the Education Ministry’s stand at the annual Santo Domingo International Book Fair 2018, which has focused on what the Digital Republic will be through the schools.

With that in mind two spaces have been set up for students to become familiar with the digital tools with which schools will be equipped, such as laptops, and thus navigate through communication networks, which will guarantee better training in Mathematics, Natural and Social Sciences.

“In Astronomy we prepare a trip to Mars, where you can appreciate that planet’s characteristics and its surface, besides getting to know many countries, since this system shows their geography, capital, economy and culture from what will be the Digital Republic project,” said, Culture deputy minister and exhibit coordinator Rafael García Romero.
