Envoy to the US pledges air traffic service at global standards

Washington DC.- DominicanRepublic ambassador to the US Jose TomasPerez on Tuesday reiterated his country´s commitment to the internationalcommunity to maintain air traffic service at the levels and standards FirstWorld nations demand.

Perez said stakeholderscan count on him and the embassy as an instrument to achieve profitable newstrategic alliances for the Dominican Republic.

The diplomat spoke at ameeting with a high-level committee of the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute(IDAC) and of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) who visited theembassy.

The Dominican commissionwill visit Washington´s Area Control Center, the Potomac Approach, the FAACommand, Metron Aviation and the facilities of Mitre Aviation´s AdvancedSystems Laboratory, which operates under the federal system of think tanks.
